Perkins Enterprises, INC is a family company owned and operated by brothers, Erik and Jaime Perkins. Their father, an architect by trade, started the business and passed on the company to Jamie and Erik to continue operating after his retirement. Currently the brothers run an expert crew of 6, all of whom have a hand in designing, framing, siding, painting, flooring, trimming with a completely "hands on” mentality.
Stages of Building on a Mountain Site
1. Site Stage: Perkins Enterprises connects you with their trusted companies for site clearing, grading, graveling, and view cutting. Perkins will be available to supervise this work ensuring quality and efficiency.
2. Infrastructure Stage: Power, water, and septic installed on property. Duke energy supplies power in the Bryson City area.
3. Building Stage: Perkins Enterprises, INC starts with the foundation work and builds on the property from the ground up.
4. Final Grading: Site is smoothed and sloped properly for drainage away from home.
5. Landscaping Stage: Perkins Enterprises has relationships with several reputable landscapers in the area, and will supervise instillation of desired landscaping.
6. Certificate of Occupancy.
Perkins Enterprises is currently framing their first Healthy Build Certified home.
